Caroline Clemmons wrote more than 90 Western and Texas romance novels over a career that spanned decades. She lived in North Central Texas cowboy country, where she drew inspiration from the land, the history, and the people who shaped the stories she told. She was married for 61 years to her late husband, whom she called her “Hero.” She passed away on May 1, 2026, leaving behind a body of work that has touched readers around the world.
